I have a problem. I love reality TV. I can’t help it. I’m mostly interested in competition style shows (i.e. RuPaul, Hell’s Kitchen, Top Chef) but recently I rewatched the entire last season of Top Chef and decided to switch it up and started watching The Real Housewives of New York City. I’ve never watched any of TRH shows because I thought they wouldn’t interest me…
Wrong. I’m beyond interested. I’m obsessed. I’m already halfway through Season 2, this started on Saturday while I was working, and I can’t wait to get out of class to go watch some more.
What I love about this show is that the personalities are so diverse. I’ve never been interested in shows like Keeping up with the Kardashians because all of them are the same to me. Another show I really enjoyed while it was popular was Toddlers and Tiaras but I would have a favorite pageant princess and the next episode would feature a new set of girls. There are pros and cons to both kinds of production, I suppose.
Anywho, I know that the last ‘Obesessed’ I shared was also about a TV show but I think this show is insane. Also, there are so many spin offs I have content to watch for what I feel like will be a year!
